Stoney Hollow's 2010 Lavender Harvest Celebration
Markdale, Ontario  (overlooking Irish Lake)
Saturday and Sunday July 24th and 25th, 2010
9:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.


Lavender Log-making demonstrations throughout the day!

Stroll along our thyme walkways and experience the fragrance of our
organic Lavender plants in bloom.
Visit Stoney Hollow's Secret Garden built within an old barn foundation
while sipping a glass of Lavender-Lime Iced Green Tea.
Take a moment to peruse our Lavender products while
enjoying a relaxing view of the lake.
Pick your own lavender or Ready-picked bunches are available for sale.
Lavender & Thyme plants for sale (call ahead for availability-they sell quickly).
Self-guided tour sheets will be provided and
Lavender varieties and perennials will be marked in the gardens.


To Register:   Email us stating your Name, Number of people attending and Contact phone number.  Directions will be sent by return email.
Entrance donation of $2.00 per adult.

Available from mid-July to beginning of August
(excluding July 24th & 25th).

During your
Group Tour we will show you everything you need to know about growing, harvesting and using Lavender!
Let us inspire you to create your own beautiful Lavender garden! 
Learn how we use every part of the harvested Lavender to make our products
i.e. Freshness Bags, Pillows and Firelogs.
Discover the history of Stoney Hollow and peruse our pictures of the evolution of the gardens and our trip to a Lavender Farm in Provence, France.
Enjoy a cup of Lavender Tea and a delicious piece of Lavender Pound Cake.
Take home: a bunch of fresh Lavender of your choice, a copy of our article How to Grow and Use Lavender, Lavender Bottle instructions, delicious Lavender recipes and Ideas of How to Use Your Lavender.

$12.00 per person (tours last approx. 50 mins.)
You may choose to relax in the garden for a while afterwards.
